The barns are located near Uxbridge in the London Borough of Hillingdon, four miles from the M25 and within 20 minutes by train to central London.

There is currently a collection of Grade II listed barns located across two parcels of land, the “Greater Barn,” on the larger parcel and the “Lesser Barn” on the smaller parcel.

The Greater Barn is a large timber framed building approximately three storeys in height, currently arranged as one large hall. Roof tiles have been removed in preparation for development works. A small ‘grain store’ planned for the front of the Greater Barn site has already been built. The remainder of the Greater Barn site is made up of hard standing and grassed areas.

The Lesser Barn is a timber and brick building with a brick facia to and timber framed to the rear. It is surrounded by areas of grass and hard standing and benefits from several car parking spaces adjacent to the south side of the barn.

Planning permission and listed building consent has been granted under planning applications 5917/APP/2007/2146 and 5971/APP/2007/2137 for the conversion of the derelict barns and barn extension to form seven residential units. The proposed units are summarised as follows:

The plans include for landscaped areas, 10 parking spaces, and a grain store (already built), which can be used for light storage.
