A hexagonal timber built lodge which has been dismantled (with plans and photographic record for rebuilding), ready for removal from present site near Wells in Somerset. This stunning, solid structure could have a variety of uses
This hexagonal oak and Douglas fir lodge / hide is a two storey structure of approximately 72sqm floor area with a mezzanine floor and minstrels gallery.
It is now dismantled with plans and photographic records for rebuilding.
Included are:
- all timbers for floor, walls and roof
- all double glazed doors
- panels for three front sides
- all metal brackets for structure and to mount front canopy.
All oak joints and framing were done by a specialist timber framers.
This is a stunning structure extremely solid and great fun - please just ask to come and see the components.
The lodge will need feather edge cladding, front door, roofing, and floor to finish.
