Oak Tree is a mix of contemporary and period features although we have tried to keep the design clean, simple and barn like. We finished the conversion of this barn a couple of years ago so everything is nice and fresh.
Local craftsmen have built the barn with great attention to detail and we have not skimped on fittings. For example granite lintels, granite steps, slate floors with under-floor heating, oak boards in the lounge.
We feel it would appeal to someone looking for the peace and quiet of the countryside without being isolated.
Location:
Accessed by a no through road about three miles from Saltash and ten miles from Plymouth city centre. The great thing about this barn is that even through you´re only three miles from Saltash it feels like your miles out in the country.
Environment:
The environment is lovely. It is very quiet here and views down the valley along the River Lynher are beautiful. Living in a no through road means theres little traffic either your neighbours or on the rare occasion someone whos taken a wrong turn. Great for bringing up kids!
The barn is facing South West so has sun in the garden through to the evening.
